Aklan Catholic College on its 75th year of championing Catholic Education, celebrated its Foundation Day at ACC Covered Court, Mabasa Campus..

The event was graced by Holy Eucharistic Celebration presided by Most Rev. Jose Corazon T. Tala-oc D.D.

The ACCians also witnessed the testimonial program in honor of BAR, LET, Criminology and NLE Passers. The new licensed professionals shared the stories of their journey to success, and inspired the ACC students to become like them in the future.

The testimonies were given by the following passers:

BAR: Atty. Lovely C. Sarceno

LET: Blessie Joy Z. De Lima, LPT

CLE: Aliana Marie D. Tadi, Reg. Crim

NLE: Angelo John Suarez, RN

The afternoon event was full of festivities that consists Laro ng Lahi, Amazing Race, Sack Race, Kadang Kadang and the most awaited original 'hugot' spoken poetry fused with OPM songs in the Battle of the Bands, performed by different participating departments.

The winners are the following departments:

1st PLACE: "HMTM Tribe" (Hospitality Management and Tourism Management Department)

2nd PLACE: "Rubber Band" (Hospitality Management and Tourism Management Department)

3rd PLACE: "BASE Band" (Teacher Education and Liberal Arts Department)

The "ACC Bayle" dance party wrapped up the event.

Rev. Fr. Gualberto I. Villasis, Ph.D., ACC Rector President delivered his closing remarks and final blessing by reminding ACCians to live out the ACC Core Values: FACES (Faith, Accountability, Character, Excellence & Service).
