School Community Outreach/ Engagement
Introduction
It is the process of communicating of communities and community members. Outreach can be done for promotion, education, research, information, connection or services. The goal of outreach is to get community members more in valued in what is happening in their community. To restore and enhance the social functioning of the people living in situations of poverty. To serve as a venue for exposure, immersion and other training programs for the academe and community development. The function is to study a particular demographic and their needs, raise funds and then set up systems to enable them to tackle these needs which supporting learning and self-sufficiency. The engagement process includes listening discussion, deliberation and decision making. Successful community engagement builds relationship in the community.

Each Community involvement in school is different as the needs of each community are different. However, the basis are the same- student success. This integrated action plan prepared by the different Faculty, Offices and Departments of ACC would attempt to address the various needs of the people in the adopted communities. The Communities Extension Services Advocacy (CESA) headed by Mensa Domini Sisters will coordinate the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the multi-purpose programs/projects activities designed by the individual Faculty, Offices and units to manifest that the actions are integrated based on the area of interest of the these offices.
